Still up, Bobby

Friday, October 16Nothing fixed. The day is yours to aim.

Yesterday was not closed out.Nothing carries forward, so today's priorities were computed from dates and commitments alone. Close out a day to give the next one a memory.

Today's progress

Nothing committed yetMeasures what you chose, not how busy you were.

Nothing on this day is asking for you.

No commitment and no date lands here, so the system has nothing to rank. That is a real answer about this day, not a gap. Claim one if you want one.

The rules this app runs on

The standardCalendar tells us when. Projects tell us why. People tell us who. Tasks tell us what. Waiting tells us what is outside your control. Capture makes sure nothing disappears. Today decides what deserves your attention.
Consequence, not ageAge does not create urgency. A consequential item becomes more prominent as its date approaches.
The anchor ruleWhen a fixed commitment constrains the opening of the day, the time anchor leads. Otherwise must-wins lead.
Fresh each morningPriorities are recalculated daily. Surviving overnight is not a qualification.
Carry forward at close-outThe prior day owns the decision. The next day only asks if the prior day was never closed.
One sourceEvery change updates Today, Week and every affected day from the same data. No hand-entered schedule text.
Close-out is not a gradeDays closed records whether you reviewed and closed the day. Commitments kept records what you actually completed. They are separate facts. Closing an unfinished day still counts as a closed day, and completing everything does not mean the day was closed.
No guilt dashboardProminence comes from consequence, time sensitivity or strategic importance. Never from a date going by.

This app cannot write to your iPhone calendar on its own. Events you add live in the app's own data. Export them as a calendar file and open it to add them for real, or tell me in chat and I will put them on your calendar directly.
